Error Code Combo 3ds

Good evening, I I am not sure where to post this. I bought the combo 2ds from the store. I did the DNS instruction for the update blocker and now I am trying to use the QR code. I have tried for follow the youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fz8gKvTNWDU but instead of getting a success window before it crashes( the black screen) I instead get an error code: 003-1101 could not connect to the access point. It says the encryption key may have been entered incorrectly. check the setting in system settings. internet settings.when I press okay it says connection failed. I was trying the QR codes from pokedit: http://www.pokedit.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=135&t=14530

Sorry for such a noob question, I am not as savvy as I hope I would be when it comes to video games. is there anything else I should do first before I can try out the QR codes?

It sounds like your wifi password is incorrect. I would personally double check that your password is entered correctly.
