I'm planning to buy a R4 card but i don't know which one would work great for this method so could someone here recommended me a R4 card? Also Does this method works with Gen 4 games as well?

pokemon x /y is a 3ds games, while normal r4i card can work on it by using this method ? far as i knew, r4i card doesnt support 3ds roms,if we want play 3ds games, like pokemon x/y,we need use flash kit like gateway 3ds or mt-card.

I made an update to this guide to include some more information and links. I also cleaned it up a bit.

Is there a Savegame file with modded legit pokemons? Creating the pokemons with perfect/good IV's costs tons of time :/
